Comparison review
The LG G8X ThinQ has a global score of 82.7, which is just a bit better than the Google Pixel 2's 81.6 score. Even though LG G8X ThinQ is much newer than Google Pixel 2, it's heavier and a bit thicker. The LG G8X ThinQ counts with just a little better processing power than Google Pixel 2, and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG G8X ThinQ also has more RAM memory.
Google Pixel 2 features a bit sharper screen than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 1920 and a way smaller display, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per screen inch. LG G8X ThinQ captures slightly better pictures and videos than Google Pixel 2, because although it has a back camera with less megapixels and a worse (4K) video definition, and they both have the same camera aperture, the LG G8X ThinQ also counts with a larger camera sensor which offers a higher image and video quality.
The LG G8X ThinQ has a much greater memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Google Pixel 2, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the LG G8X ThinQ also has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. The LG G8X ThinQ features a superior battery life than Google Pixel 2, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
Although LG G8X ThinQ is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Google Pixel 2, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Google Pixel 2. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Google Pixel 2, and give up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your money.
