Comparison review

The LG Velvet has a score of 87.1, which is a little bit better than the Google Pixel 2's global score of 81.6. LG Velvet is a extremely heavier device than the Google Pixel 2, but they are equally thin. Google Pixel 2 features a bit more vivid screen than LG Velvet, because although it has a really smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 1920, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the screen.

The LG Velvet features a lot bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Google Pixel 2, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the LG Velvet also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 1,95 TB. The LG Velvet counts with just a little better hardware performance than Google Pixel 2, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the LG Velvet also has a higher amount of RAM memory.

LG Velvet shoots much better photographs and videos than Google Pixel 2, and although they both have the same video frame rate, a F1.8 diafragm aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the LG Velvet also has a much bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing much higher quality videos and photos and a way more mega pixels back-facing camera.

LG Velvet features a much longer battery life than Google Pixel 2, because it has a 4300mAh battery capacity.

Although LG Velvet is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Google Pixel 2, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Google Pixel 2. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy LG Velvet, otherwise you can save some money and get the Google Pixel 2, letting go some features and specifications.
