Galaxy Note8 is a little bit better than the Google Pixel 2, getting an 83 score against 81.6. Galaxy Note8 is better than the Google Pixel 2, it must be told that it is also a just a bit thicker and notably heavier cellphone. Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Google Pixel 2, because it has a lot better 1440 x 2960 resolution, a little bit greater pixels density and a larger display.

Galaxy Note8 counts with a slightly bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Google Pixel 2, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 256 GB. The Galaxy Note8 features a little faster processor than Google Pixel 2, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Note8 also has a larger amount of RAM memory.

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with longer battery performance than Google Pixel 2, because it has a 22 percent larger battery capacity. Galaxy Note8 features a camera that is very similar to the camera in Google Pixel 2, because although the Galaxy Note8 has a lower video definition and a less mega-pixels back facing camera, it also counts with a larger aperture to capture better images and videos in low-light environments and a larger back camera sensor providing a higher image quality.

Although Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Google Pixel 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Google Pixel 2. If you prefer to save some money, you can get Google Pixel 2, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
