Comparison review

The Xperia 5 II is a little bit better than Google Pixel 2, having an 87.2 score against 81.6. The Xperia 5 II is a somewhat heavier phone than Google Pixel 2, but both of them have the same thickness. Xperia 5 II counts with a bit sharper screen than Google Pixel 2, because it has a little bit better count of pixels per inch in the screen, a quite better 1080 x 2520 pixels resolution and a bigger screen.

Xperia 5 II features a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Google Pixel 2, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Xperia 5 II also has a SD extension slot that holds up to 1000 GB. The Xperia 5 II counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Google Pixel 2, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xperia 5 II also has more RAM.

Sony Xperia 5 II captures just a bit better photos and videos than Google Pixel 2, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a less MP resolution camera, it also counts with a bigger aperture to take better photos in low light environments and a much bigger camera sensor capturing much higher quality photographs.

Xperia 5 II has a much better battery performance than Google Pixel 2, because it has a 4000mAh battery size against 2700mAh.

Although Sony Xperia 5 II is a better device, it costs a lot more than Google Pixel 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Google Pixel 2. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy Google Pixel 2, letting go some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
