Comparison review
The Google Pixel 2 has an overall score of 81.6, which is a little bit better than the Xperia Z5 Premium's 79.8 score. The Google Pixel 2 construction has the same thickness than the Xperia Z5 Premium, but it's notably lighter. The Xperia Z5 Premium features a bit faster CPU than Google Pixel 2, because although it has lesser RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with a graphics processing unit.
Xperia Z5 Premium has a much more vibrant screen than Google Pixel 2, because it has a quite bigger screen, a way better display density and a lot higher 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution. Google Pixel 2 counts with a better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.
The Xperia Z5 Premium captures a bit better pictures and videos than Google Pixel 2, and although they both have the same diafragm aperture, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has a larger sensor which gives a higher photo and video quality and a much more mega-pixels camera.
The Xperia Z5 Premium features improved battery lifetime than Google Pixel 2, because it has 3430mAh of battery capacity instead of 2700mAh.
Even being the best phone in our comparison, Google Pixel 2 is also very cheap compared to the other phones.
