Google Pixel 2 is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Max, getting a general score of 81.6 against 77.5. Google Pixel 2's body is newer and way lighter than Xiaomi Mi Max's, although it's also just a little thicker. Google Pixel 2 counts with just a bit better display than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a lot smaller display, and they both have the same 1080 x 1920 resolution, the Google Pixel 2 also counts with a higher pixels quantity in each inch of display.
The Xiaomi Mi Max features a lot bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Google Pixel 2, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory, the Xiaomi Mi Max also has a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 256 GB. The Google Pixel 2 counts with just a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Mi Max. Both have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount.
Xiaomi Mi Max has a much longer battery lifetime than Google Pixel 2, because it has 4850mAh of battery capacity against 2700mAh. Google Pixel 2 captures a little bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a worse 3840x2160 video definition and a camera in the back with lot less mega pixels, it also counts with a bigger aperture to take better low light photos and videos.
