Comparison review
IPhone 8 has an overall score of 85, which is just a bit better than Google Pixel 3 XL's 80.7 overall score. The iPhone 8 design is just a little thinner and somewhat lighter than the Google Pixel 3 XL, despite of the fact that it was released a bit more more than a year before. IPhone 8 has a bit faster CPU than Google Pixel 3 XL, because although it has a lower number of cores and also slower and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bits processing unit.
The Google Pixel 3 XL counts with a bit sharper display than Apple iPhone 8, because it has a much bigger display, a much greater pixel number per inch in the display and a way better resolution of 1440 x 2960px. IPhone 8 counts with a much bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Google Pixel 3 XL, because it has 192 GB more internal memory.
Google Pixel 3 XL has a really longer battery lifetime than iPhone 8, because it has 3430mAh of battery capacity instead of 1821mAh. The Apple iPhone 8 counts with a slightly better camera than Google Pixel 3 XL, although it has a back facing camera with a lower 12 mega-pixels resolution, a worse video quality and a smaller sensor taking worse quality videos and images, they both have a F1.8 aperture.
Although iPhone 8 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Google Pixel 3 XL, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Google Pixel 3 XL. If you want to save some money, you can get Google Pixel 3 XL, letting go a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
