The Galaxy A8 Star has a general score of 82.1, which is a little bit better than the Google Pixel 3 XL's general score of 80.7. Even though the Galaxy A8 Star and the Google Pixel 3 XL were released with only a few months difference, Galaxy A8 Star's body is a little heavier but a bit thinner than the Google Pixel 3 XL.
Google Pixel 3 XL counts with a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores. The Google Pixel 3 XL has a bit sharper screen than Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have a same size display, the Google Pixel 3 XL also has a better resolution of 1440 x 2960px and a higher screen density.
