Comparison review
The iPhone 8 is just a bit better than the Google Pixel 3, having a global score of 85 against 80. The iPhone 8 construction has the same weight than the Google Pixel 3, but it is just a little thinner. The iPhone 8 counts with a bit superior processor than Google Pixel 3, because although it has less and slower processing cores and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bit CPU.
The Google Pixel 3 counts with a little bit better looking screen than Apple iPhone 8, because it has a larger screen, a way higher 1080 x 2160 resolution and a higher display density. IPhone 8 counts with a very superior memory to store more apps and games than Google Pixel 3, because it has 256 GB internal memory.
The Google Pixel 3 features a much longer battery duration than iPhone 8, because it has a 2915mAh battery size. The iPhone 8 takes a bit better pictures and videos than Google Pixel 3, although it has a lower resolution camera in the back, a worse 3840x2160 video resolution and a smaller camera sensor, they both have a F1.8 diafragm aperture.
Although Apple iPhone 8 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Google Pixel 3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Google Pixel 3. If you prefer to save some money, you can get the Google Pixel 3, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
