Comparison review
The Galaxy A8 Star is just a bit better than the Google Pixel 3, having a overall score of 82.1 against 80. Although Galaxy A8 Star and Google Pixel 3 were released with only a few months difference, Galaxy A8 Star's design is just a little thinner but also way heavier than Google Pixel 3. The Google Pixel 3 has a bit sharper display than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a little smaller display and a bit worse 1080 x 2160 resolution, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch of display.
The Google Pixel 3 counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A8 Star, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 cpu cores. The Galaxy A8 Star takes slightly better photos and videos than Google Pixel 3, because although it has a smaller camera sensor which gives a lower image and video quality, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Galaxy A8 Star also counts with a bigger aperture to capture better photography and videos in low light situations and a camera in the back with a lot higher resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star counts with a much better memory for games and applications than Google Pixel 3, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star also has an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB. Galaxy A8 Star has better battery lifetime than Google Pixel 3, because it has a 3700mAh battery size against 2915mAh.
