Comparison review

Xperia 5 is just a bit better than Google Pixel 3, getting a general score of 81 against 80. Xperia 5 is a newer cellphone than the Google Pixel 3, but it is a little bit thicker and a little heavier. Xperia 5 counts with just a little better hardware performance than Google Pixel 3, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xperia 5 also has 2 GB more RAM.

The Sony Xperia 5 has a little bit better looking screen than Google Pixel 3, because it has a quite better 1080 x 2520 pixels resolution, a little bit larger display and a just a bit higher amount of pixels in each inch of screen. The Sony Xperia 5 and Google Pixel 3 both feature incredibly similar cameras, because although the Sony Xperia 5 has a lower video definition, a tinier sensor taking worse quality photographs and videos and a back-facing camera with less MP resolution, it also counts with a bigger aperture to take better low light photography.

The Sony Xperia 5 features a lot bigger memory to store more apps and games than Google Pixel 3, because it has more internal memory capacity and an external memory slot that supports up to 512 GB. The Xperia 5 features a bit superior battery duration than Google Pixel 3, because it has an 8 percent larger battery size.

Although Sony Xperia 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Google Pixel 3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Google Pixel 3. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Sony Xperia 5, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Google Pixel 3, resigning some features and specs.
