Galaxy A8 Star is a bit better than the Google Pixel 3a XL, getting an 82.1 score against 78.9. Even though the Galaxy A8 Star and the Google Pixel 3a XL were released only 8 months apart, the Galaxy A8 Star design is heavier but also just a little bit thinner than the Google Pixel 3a XL. Both of these devices come with Android OS, but the Galaxy A8 Star has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Google Pixel 3a XL has Android 11 version.
Galaxy A8 Star features a display that's just as good as Google Pixel 3a XL's display, because although the Galaxy A8 Star has a bit worse screen pixel density, it also counts with a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2220px and a little larger display. Galaxy A8 Star features a much better memory for games and applications than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy A8 Star also has an external memory slot that allows up to 400 GB.
