Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M31 is a little bit better than the Google Pixel 3a XL, getting an 86.5 score against 78.9. Both phones in our current comparison use the same Android 11 OS. Although Samsung Galaxy M31 is newer than the Google Pixel 3a XL, it is just a little bit thicker and heavier. The Galaxy M31 counts with a little sharper screen than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has a bit greater pixel count per inch of screen, a bit higher 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and a quite bigger display.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 has a much greater memory capacity to install applications and games than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. The Galaxy M31 counts with a bit better processor than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Galaxy M31 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
Galaxy M31 counts with a superior battery lifetime than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity against 3700mAh. The Galaxy M31 shoots greater photographs and videos than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have the same diafragm aperture, the same video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy M31 also has a much bigger camera sensor taking lot better quality videos and photos and a back camera with lot more megapixels.
