Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 edge+ has a general score of 79.3, which is just a bit better than the Google Pixel 3a XL's global score of 78.9. Both of these devices include Android OS, but the Galaxy S6 edge+ has the older 5.1 version while Google Pixel 3a XL has Android 11 version. Even though Galaxy S6 edge+ is extremely older than the Google Pixel 3a XL, it's construction is thinner and a little bit lighter.
The Galaxy S6 edge+ counts with a much better screen than Google Pixel 3a XL, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better 2560 x 1440 resolution and a greater screen density. The Galaxy S6 edge+ features as much memory for games and applications as Google Pixel 3a XL, they have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity.
Google Pixel 3a XL has a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Google Pixel 3a XL also has a larger number of cores. Google Pixel 3a XL counts with superior battery life than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has 3700mAh of battery capacity. Galaxy S6 edge+ takes a little bit better photographs and videos than Google Pixel 3a XL, because although it has a smaller back camera sensor taking worse quality photographs and videos and a tinier aperture, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Galaxy S6 edge+ also counts with a way higher 16 mega pixels resolution back facing camera.
Although Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Google Pixel 3a XL, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Google Pixel 3a XL. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, else you can save some money and get the Google Pixel 3a XL, giving up some specs and features.
