Google Pixel XL counts with a camera that is just as good as the Google Pixel 3a one, because although the Google Pixel XL has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for taking pictures and/or video in low light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, it also counts with a more MP camera in the back and a bigger sensor providing a better image quality.
