Comparison review
Sony Xperia XZ3 has a general score of 79.6, which is a little bit better than the Google Pixel 3a's global score of 78.8. Sony Xperia XZ3 is a better phone than Google Pixel 3a, it must be noted that it is also thicker and incredibly heavier. These devices use Android OS (Operating System), but the Sony Xperia XZ3 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Google Pixel 3a has Android 11 version, offering some additional features and some performance improvements.
The Xperia XZ3 has a brighter display than Google Pixel 3a, because it has a little bigger display, a higher resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels and a little more pixels per display inch. The Xperia XZ3 counts with a much better memory capacity for games and applications than Google Pixel 3a, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Xperia XZ3 also has an external memory slot that supports up to 512 GB.
Xperia XZ3 features a bit more powerful processor than Google Pixel 3a. Both of them have the same number of cores and a 4 GB RAM memory. Xperia XZ3 features a little bit better camera than Google Pixel 3a, because although it has a tinier camera aperture, and they both have the same video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Xperia XZ3 also counts with a way more megapixels back facing camera and a larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
Xperia XZ3 features just a bit better battery duration than Google Pixel 3a, because it has an 11 percent larger battery size.
Although Sony Xperia XZ3 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Google Pixel 3a, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Pixel 3a. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy Google Pixel 3a, letting go a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
