Comparison review
The Google Pixel 4 XL is a bit better than the Galaxy A8 Star, having an 82.9 score against 82.1. Even though Google Pixel 4 XL is newer than the Galaxy A8 Star, it is just a bit heavier and a bit thicker. Google Pixel 4 XL counts with a bit better screen than Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have a same size screen, the Google Pixel 4 XL also has a better resolution of 1440 x 3040 and a higher display pixel density.
Galaxy A8 Star features a way bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Google Pixel 4 XL, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Galaxy A8 Star also has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB. Google Pixel 4 XL has a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy A8 Star. Both of them have a 6 GB RAM and 8 processing cores.
Google Pixel 4 XL and Samsung Galaxy A8 Star have really similar battery performance. The Galaxy A8 Star counts with a slightly better camera than Google Pixel 4 XL, because although it has a tinier sensor offering a worse image quality, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the same diafragm aperture and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Galaxy A8 Star also counts with a back camera with a lot higher resolution.
