Samsung Galaxy Note9 is slightly better than Google Pixel 4 XL, with a score of 87.1 against 82.9. Even being the best phone in our current comparison, it must be noted that it's also an older, just a little thicker and just a bit heavier phone. Galaxy Note9's CPU is very similar to the processor in Google Pixel 4 XL, both of them have the same RAM memory amount and a Octa-Core processor.

The Google Pixel 4 XL counts with just a bit better display than Samsung Galaxy Note9, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a slightly higher 1440 x 3040 pixels resolution and a bit greater pixels density. Samsung Galaxy Note9 features a slightly better camera than Google Pixel 4 XL, because although it has a back facing camera with a worse resolution and a worse 3840x2160 video definition, and they both have the same back-facing camera sensor size, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also counts with a larger camera aperture for better low light images.

Samsung Galaxy Note9 has much more memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Google Pixel 4 XL, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 512 GB and more internal storage. The Galaxy Note9 counts with a bit longer battery lifetime than Google Pixel 4 XL, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
