The Google Pixel 4 is just a bit better than the Huawei P20, having an 81.9 score against 78.1. Although the Google Pixel 4 is just a little thicker than the Huawei P20, it's a bit lighter and also newer. The Google Pixel 4 features a little faster processor than Huawei P20, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Google Pixel 4 also has more RAM memory.
The Google Pixel 4 counts with a little sharper screen than Huawei P20, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a little greater pixels density and a little bit higher 1080 x 2280 resolution. The Huawei P20 counts with a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Google Pixel 4, because it has 128 GB internal storage.
The Huawei P20 counts with improved battery lifetime than Google Pixel 4, because it has a 21% greater battery size. Huawei P20 takes clearer photos and videos than Google Pixel 4, because although it has a worse 12 MP resolution camera, a worse video resolution and a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for capturing photographs or video in low-light environments, it also counts with a larger sensor providing a better image quality.
Google Pixel 4 is more expensive than the Huawei P20, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
