Comparison review
The Google Pixel 4a 5G is better than the OnePlus 8, getting a general score of 87.5 against 76. Although the Google Pixel 4a 5G and OnePlus 8 were released only 7 months apart, Google Pixel 4a 5G's design is a bit lighter but also a bit thicker than OnePlus 8. The OnePlus 8 counts with a bit better performance than Google Pixel 4a 5G, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the OnePlus 8 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
OnePlus 8 has a little more vivid display than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because although it has a little bit worse pixels count in each inch in the display, it also counts with a little bit bigger display and a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2400. OnePlus 8 features as much storage for applications and games as the Google Pixel 4a 5G, both of them have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity.
The OnePlus 8 has a little longer battery life than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because it has an 11% larger battery size. The OnePlus 8 counts with a much better camera than Google Pixel 4a 5G, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for low-light images, and they both have the same 60 frames per second video frame rates and the same (4K) video definition, the OnePlus 8 also counts with a lot more MP camera in the back and a much larger sensor providing a lot higher image quality.
Google Pixel 4a 5G is a lot more expensive than the OnePlus 8, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
