Comparison review
The iPhone XS Max is slightly better than Google Pixel 4a, getting an 84.5 score against 82.9. IPhone XS Max is an older and extremely heavier device than Google Pixel 4a, but Apple managed to make it a little bit thinner anyway. The Apple iPhone XS Max features a slightly better display than Google Pixel 4a, because it has a bit greater screen density, a slightly higher resolution of 1242 x 2688px and a quite larger display.
The Google Pixel 4a features a much better memory capacity for applications and games than iPhone XS Max, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity. IPhone XS Max counts with a faster processor than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has an inferior number of cores and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a 64 bits CPU.
IPhone XS Max features just a bit longer battery performance than Google Pixel 4a, because it has a 1% bigger battery size. IPhone XS Max takes a bit better photographs and videos than Google Pixel 4a, although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for taking pictures in poorly lited environments, a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a back camera with lesser megapixels, they both have a 0.39 inches back camera sensor.
Although iPhone XS Max is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Google Pixel 4a, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Google Pixel 4a. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the Google Pixel 4a, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your budget.
