Comparison review
Google Pixel 4a has a general score of 82.9, which is slightly better than the Google Pixel 2's 81.6 general score. Google Pixel 4a's body has the same weight than the Google Pixel 2, but it's just a little bit thicker. Google Pixel 2 has a display that is just as good as Google Pixel 4a's display, although the Google Pixel 2 has a just a little less pixels per inch of screen, a quite smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels.
Google Pixel 2 counts with as much storage capacity for applications and games as the Google Pixel 4a one, both of them have equal internal memory. Google Pixel 2's CPU is very similar to Google Pixel 4a's processor, and although the Google Pixel 2 has a lower amount of RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores.
The Google Pixel 4a has superior battery life than Google Pixel 2, because it has a 3140mAh battery size. Google Pixel 4a and Google Pixel 2 both count with extremely similar cameras, and although the Google Pixel 2 has a smaller diafragm aperture and a smaller back camera sensor shooting lower quality videos and photographs, they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a back facing camera with a 12.2 mega pixels resolution.
Although Google Pixel 4a is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Google Pixel 2, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Google Pixel 2. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Google Pixel 4a, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Google Pixel 2, giving up a couple features and specifications.
