Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M31s is a little bit better than the Google Pixel 4a, getting a general score of 88 against 82.9. Although Samsung Galaxy M31s is a better cellphone than Google Pixel 4a, it must be noted that it is also a incredibly heavier and somewhat thicker cellphone. Both of these phones use the same Android 11 OS (operating system), so both of them should count with very similar operating system features.
The Samsung Galaxy M31s has just a little better processing power than Google Pixel 4a. They have the same number of cores and 6 GB of RAM. Google Pixel 4a counts with a bit more vivid display than Galaxy M31s, because although it has a bit lower 1080 x 2340 resolution and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little greater number of pixels in each inch in the display.
Galaxy M31s counts with a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Google Pixel 4a, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory, the Galaxy M31s also has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. The Galaxy M31s has a way better camera than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for low light photography, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy M31s also counts with a much bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a lot higher 64 MP resolution back-facing camera.
Samsung Galaxy M31s features a way better battery life than Google Pixel 4a, because it has a 91% greater battery capacity.
