Comparison review
The Google Pixel 4a has a global score of 82.9, which is a bit better than the Xperia XZ1's overall score of 78.3. Google Pixel 4a's body is newer and a little bit lighter than the Xperia XZ1's, although it is a bit thicker. The Google Pixel 4a features a bit better looking display than Sony Xperia XZ1, because it has a little bit larger display, a bit higher pixel density and a slightly better 1080 x 2340px resolution.
Sony Xperia XZ1 counts with a bit faster CPU than Google Pixel 4a, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Sony Xperia XZ1 features just a bit better camera than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low light photography, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Sony Xperia XZ1 also counts with a lot more MP camera in the back and a larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Sony Xperia XZ1 features a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD card slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. Google Pixel 4a has longer battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XZ1, because it has 3140mAh of battery capacity.
Even being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, the Google Pixel 4a is also by far the cheapest one.
