Google Pixel 5 is much better than the OnePlus 8, having an 89 score against 76. Google Pixel 5 is a somewhat lighter cellphone than OnePlus 8, but they have the same thickness. OnePlus 8 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Google Pixel 5. Both of them have the same RAM amount and a Octa-Core CPU.
OnePlus 8 has a bit better screen than Google Pixel 5, because although it has a quite worse pixels count per inch in the screen, it also counts with a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a little bit bigger display. The OnePlus 8 takes much better videos and photos than Google Pixel 5, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not so good for taking pictures and/or video in low-light situations, and they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same 60 frames per second video frame rates, the OnePlus 8 also counts with a way higher 48 mega pixels resolution back camera and a much larger sensor.
The OnePlus 8 counts with as much storage to store more games and applications as Google Pixel 5, they have exactly the same internal memory capacity. The OnePlus 8 has just a little bit longer battery duration than Google Pixel 5, because it has a 4300mAh battery capacity against 4080mAh.
The Google Pixel 5 is a lot more expensive than OnePlus 8, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
