Comparison review
The Google Pixel 5 has a global score of 89, which is slightly better than the Galaxy M31's score of 86.5. The Google Pixel 5 design is incredibly lighter and thinner than the Galaxy M31, even though they were released with only a couple months difference. Galaxy M31 has a slightly better display than Google Pixel 5, because although it has a just a bit worse pixel density, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2340, the Galaxy M31 also counts with a quite bigger display.
The Galaxy M31 features a bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Google Pixel 5, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external memory card slot that allows up to 512 GB. Google Pixel 5 counts with a bit better processing power than Galaxy M31, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Google Pixel 5 also has 2 GB more RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 takes much better photographs and videos than Google Pixel 5, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for shooting images and videos in poorly lited environments and worse video frame rate, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also counts with a back facing camera with way more MP and a much larger sensor taking much higher quality pictures.
Galaxy M31 counts with a way better battery lifetime than Google Pixel 5, because it has a 47 percent bigger battery capacity.
