Comparison review
Sony Xperia XZ1 is a little bit better than Google Pixel 6a, having a overall score of 78.3 against 76.4. Although the Sony Xperia XZ1 is much older than Google Pixel 6a, it's design is somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter. Sony Xperia XZ1 counts with a really superior hardware performance than Google Pixel 6a, because although it has lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a higher number of cores.
The Xperia XZ1 counts with a bit better screen than Google Pixel 6a, although it has a little smaller screen, a little lower resolution of 1080 x 1920px and a little less pixels per inch of display. Sony Xperia XZ1 has a way bigger memory to install applications and games than Google Pixel 6a, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with an external memory slot that admits up to 1,95 TB.
The Google Pixel 6a features a much better battery performance than Xperia XZ1, because it has a 4410mAh battery size against 2700mAh. The Xperia XZ1 shoots a bit better photos and videos than Google Pixel 6a, because although it has lower 30 fps video frame rates and a tinier camera aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xperia XZ1 also counts with a camera with a much higher resolution.
Although Sony Xperia XZ1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Google Pixel 6a, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Google Pixel 6a. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Sony Xperia XZ1, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Google Pixel 6a, letting go a couple specifications.
