Comparison review
Google Pixel XL has a global score of 81.3, which is just a bit better than Google Pixel 3a XL's 78.9 score. Even being the best we are comparing here, we must highlight that it's also a much older, a little thicker and just a bit heavier cellphone. Google Pixel XL counts with a bit better looking screen than Google Pixel 3a XL, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a greater pixels count per display inch and a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution.
Google Pixel 3a XL features a little faster processing unit than Google Pixel XL, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM memory, the Google Pixel 3a XL also has a higher number of cores. The Google Pixel XL and the Google Pixel 3a XL count with extremely similar cameras, because although the Google Pixel 3a XL has a lower 12.2 megapixels resolution back facing camera, a lower 3840x2160 video quality and a smaller back camera sensor offering a lower image quality, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture for better images in low-light environments.
The Google Pixel XL counts with a much better storage capacity to install games and applications than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity. Google Pixel 3a XL has a bit superior battery lifetime than Google Pixel XL, because it has a 3700mAh battery capacity instead of 3450mAh.
Although Google Pixel XL is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Google Pixel 3a XL, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Google Pixel 3a XL. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Google Pixel XL, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Google Pixel 3a XL, resigning a couple features and specs.
