Although Google Pixel XL is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Google Pixel 3a XL, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Google Pixel 3a XL. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Google Pixel XL, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Google Pixel 3a XL, resigning a couple features and specs.
