Comparison review
Google Pixel XL has an overall score of 81.3, which is just a bit better than HTC One M9's 77.7 overall score. Google Pixel XL is a newer and thinner phone than the HTC One M9, although it's a little heavier. The HTC One M9 features a faster processor than Google Pixel XL, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a larger number of cores , a 64-bits CPU and an extra graphics processor.
The HTC One M9 has a little more vivid display than Google Pixel XL, although it has a little smaller screen, a much lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a little bit lower pixel density. The Google Pixel XL features a very superior storage capacity to store more apps and games than HTC One M9, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.
The Google Pixel XL has longer battery performance than HTC One M9, because it has a 3450mAh battery size instead of 2840mAh. The HTC One M9 captures just a bit better videos and photos than Google Pixel XL, because although it has a tinier sensor taking lower quality photos and videos and a tinier aperture which is not so good for low light captures, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the HTC One M9 also counts with a back camera with way more MP.
Although Google Pixel XL is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the HTC One M9. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy HTC One M9, and give up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
