Comparison review
Google Pixel XL has a general score of 81.3, which is slightly better than Huawei Mate 20's global score of 79.5. Google Pixel XL is a much older and a bit thicker device than Huawei Mate 20, but Google made it lighter anyway. Huawei Mate 20 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Google Pixel XL, because although it has a much worse pixel density and a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2244px, it also counts with a bigger screen.
Huawei Mate 20 counts with a bit better performance than Google Pixel XL, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Huawei Mate 20 also has a larger number of faster cores. Google Pixel XL and Huawei Mate 20 count with incredibly similar storage to install applications and games, they have the same 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The Huawei Mate 20 has a little longer battery life than Google Pixel XL, because it has a 16 percent bigger battery capacity. Huawei Mate 20 counts with just a bit better camera than Google Pixel XL, because although it has a worse 3840x2160 video resolution and a lower 12 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera, and they both have a 0.43 inches camera sensor, the Huawei Mate 20 also counts with a larger diafragm aperture to take better low light captures and video.
Although Google Pixel XL is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Huawei Mate 20, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Huawei Mate 20. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Google Pixel XL, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Huawei Mate 20, resigning some features and specifications.
