Google Pixel XL has an overall score of 81.3, which is a bit better than the OnePlus 8 UW's 75.9 global score. Despite of the fact the Google Pixel XL is much older and a bit thicker than OnePlus 8 UW, it's body is still just a little lighter. The OnePlus 8 UW has a little better hardware performance than Google Pixel XL, because it has a higher amount of RAM and a greater number of cores.

The OnePlus 8 UW takes greater photos and videos than Google Pixel XL, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the OnePlus 8 UW also has a larger camera aperture for better photos and video in poorly lited situations, a much more megapixels camera in the back, a larger back camera sensor shooting better quality videos and pictures and higher 60 frames per second video frame rates.
The Google Pixel XL costs a little more than OnePlus 8 UW, but it's still a convenient choice, because you can get a better phone for that extra money.
