Google Pixel XL is just a bit better than the Galaxy S5 Plus, having a overall score of 81.3 against 78.1. Google Pixel XL is a a lot newer cellphone than the Galaxy S5 Plus, although it is just a little bit thicker and heavier. The Galaxy S5 Plus features a bit faster processing unit than Google Pixel XL, because although it has 2 GB lesser RAM memory, and they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Galaxy S5 Plus also counts with a GPU.

Galaxy S5 Plus has a bit sharper display than Google Pixel XL, although it has a quite smaller screen, a lot worse 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a quite worse display pixels density. Google Pixel XL counts with a much bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.

The Galaxy S5 Plus counts with a camera that is just as good as the Google Pixel XL one, because although the Galaxy S5 Plus has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for capturing images and video in poorly lited environments and a smaller sensor which provides a lower photo and video quality, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video quality, it also counts with a lot more MP camera in the back.

The Google Pixel XL counts with superior battery life than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 23 percent more battery size.

Although Google Pixel XL is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Google Pixel XL, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, resigning a couple features and specs.
