Comparison review

Google Pixel XL has a general score of 81.3, which is slightly better than the Galaxy S7's 79.5 global score. Even being the best in our current comparison, Google Pixel XL's body is a little bit thicker and just a little heavier than the Galaxy S7. The Samsung Galaxy S7 has a bit better hardware performance than Google Pixel XL. Both of them have the same number of cores and 4 GB of RAM.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 has a better looking screen than Google Pixel XL, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 1440 x 2560px resolution, the Samsung Galaxy S7 also counts with a quite greater display pixels density. The Google Pixel XL counts with more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy S7, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.

Google Pixel XL and Galaxy S7 feature really similar cameras, because although the Galaxy S7 has a smaller back camera sensor, a worse resolution camera and a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, it also counts with a larger aperture for better photos and video in poorly lited environments. The Google Pixel XL counts with just a bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S7, because it has 3450mAh of battery capacity.

Although Google Pixel XL is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy S7, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy S7. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Google Pixel XL, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Galaxy S7, giving up a couple features and specs.
