Comparison review

The Google Pixel XL is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, with a score of 81.3 against 78.1. Although it's the best device in this comparison, the Google Pixel XL is a somewhat thicker and a little bit heavier device than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge counts with a bit more powerful processor than Google Pixel XL. Both have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount.

Samsung Galaxy S7 edge and Google Pixel XL have incredibly similar displays, both have a display with the same size, the same resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a higher amount of pixels per inch in the display. The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge's camera is just as good as the Google Pixel XL one, because although the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has a tinier back-facing camera sensor capturing less light and washed colors, a camera with a lower 12 mega-pixels resolution and a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, it also counts with a larger aperture.

The Google Pixel XL features a bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. Galaxy S7 edge has just a little better battery duration than Google Pixel XL, because it has a 3600mAh battery capacity.

Although Google Pixel XL is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy S7 edge, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy S7 edge. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Google Pixel XL, otherwise you can save some money and get the Galaxy S7 edge, letting go a couple specs and features.
