Galaxy S8 is just a bit better than Google Pixel XL, getting a overall score of 81.7 against 81.3. Even when the Galaxy S8 and the Google Pixel XL were released only a couple months apart, the Galaxy S8 is a little bit thinner and a bit lighter. The Samsung Galaxy S8 features a bit sharper display than Google Pixel XL, because it has a just a little better pixel quantity in each inch in the screen, a slightly better 1440 x 2960 resolution and a quite bigger screen.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 has a bit more powerful CPU than Google Pixel XL, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Samsung Galaxy S8 also has more CPU cores.
