Sony Xperia 1 has a score of 82.6, which is just a bit better than the Google Pixel XL's score of 81.3. The Sony Xperia 1 design is noticeably newer and just a little thinner, but a little bit heavier than Google Pixel XL. The Sony Xperia 1 has a brighter screen than Google Pixel XL, because it has a bigger display, a little more pixels per display inch and a higher resolution of 1644 x 3840px.

Xperia 1 has a way bigger memory to store more apps and games than Google Pixel XL, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Xperia 1 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. Sony Xperia 1 counts with a little faster processor than Google Pixel XL, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and more cpu cores.

Google Pixel XL counts with a bit superior battery life than Xperia 1, because it has a 3450mAh battery capacity. The Google Pixel XL and the Sony Xperia 1 have extremely similar cameras, because although the Sony Xperia 1 has a worse resolution back facing camera, a lower video quality and a smaller back camera sensor taking less light and dull colors, it also counts with a larger camera aperture.

The Xperia 1 costs a bit more money than Google Pixel XL, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
