Comparison review
The Google Pixel XL is just a bit better than the Xperia XZ Premium, getting an 81.3 score against 79.8. Even though the Google Pixel XL and Xperia XZ Premium were released only 7 months apart, Google Pixel XL's design is lighter but just a little bit thicker. Xperia XZ Premium has a much better looking display than Google Pixel XL, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Xperia XZ Premium also has a lot higher resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels and a better count of pixels per inch in the display.
The Sony Xperia XZ Premium features just a bit more memory capacity to install games and applications than Google Pixel XL, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 256 GB. Xperia XZ Premium has a bit better CPU than Google Pixel XL, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Xperia XZ Premium also has a higher number of faster cores.
The Google Pixel XL counts with a bit better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, because it has a 3450mAh battery size. Xperia XZ Premium features a slightly better camera than Google Pixel XL, and although they both have the same sensor size, the same (4K) video resolution, the same video frame rates and a same size aperture, the Xperia XZ Premium also has a back facing camera with a lot higher 19 megapixels resolution.
