Comparison review

Google Pixel XL has a score of 81.3, which is a bit better than the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium's overall score of 79.8. Even though the Google Pixel XL is a little thicker than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, it's a little lighter and also newer. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a little bit better processing power than Google Pixel XL, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit and a higher number of cores (but slower).

The Xperia Z5 Premium has a much sharper screen than Google Pixel XL, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has a way better 3840 x 2160 resolution and more pixels per screen inch. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium features a slightly better camera than Google Pixel XL, and although they both have a same size camera sensor, the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also has a bigger diafragm aperture for better images in low-light environments and a camera in the back with a much higher 23 megapixels resolution.

The Google Pixel XL has more storage capacity for apps and games than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory capacity. The Xperia Z5 Premium and Google Pixel XL feature similar battery performance, although the Xperia Z5 Premium has a 1 percent smaller battery size.

Although Google Pixel XL is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Sony Xperia Z5 Premium. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Google Pixel XL, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, letting go a couple features and specifications.
