Comparison review
The Google Pixel XL has a global score of 81.3, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2's 77.5 global score. The Google Pixel XL body is thicker but noticeably lighter than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and both were released only a few months apart. The Google Pixel XL counts with a sharper display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 resolution and a way higher pixel number per screen inch.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a much better storage to install applications and games than Google Pixel XL, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 128 GB. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with just a bit better performance than Google Pixel XL, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM memory, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has a greater number of cores.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a really longer battery life than Google Pixel XL, because it has a 54 percent more battery capacity. The Google Pixel XL shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Google Pixel XL also has a more MP camera, a way larger camera sensor taking much better quality videos and photos and a larger camera aperture for better captures and videos in low-light situations.
Although Google Pixel XL is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Mi Max 2. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Google Pixel XL, else you can save some dollars and buy the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, letting go some specifications.
