The Google Pixel XL is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi MIX, getting a general score of 81.3 against 76.2. Even though Google Pixel XL and Xiaomi Mi MIX were released only a couple months apart, the Google Pixel XL design is somewhat lighter but a little thicker. The Google Pixel XL has a little more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a greater display density.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX's storage to store more apps and games is very similar to the Google Pixel XL one, both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Mi MIX features a little better performance than Google Pixel XL. Both have a Quad-Core processor and the same RAM amount. The Xiaomi Mi MIX features improved battery duration than Google Pixel XL, because it has a 4400mAh battery capacity.
Xiaomi Mi MIX has a camera that is very similar to the camera in Google Pixel XL, because although the Xiaomi Mi MIX has a way smaller camera sensor which provides a way lower photo and video quality, and they both have the same video frame rate, a F2 aperture and the same (4K) video resolution, it also counts with a back-facing camera with way more megapixels.
The Google Pixel XL costs a lot more than the Xiaomi Mi MIX, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
