The Google Pixel XL is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, getting a global score of 81.3 against 81.2. Even though the Google Pixel XL is older and thicker than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, it's construction is still just a bit lighter. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features a bit better processor than Google Pixel XL, because it has a greater amount of RAM and a greater number of cores (and also faster).
Google Pixel XL counts with a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a greater pixel density and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a much better memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Google Pixel XL, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity.
The Google Pixel XL shoots slightly better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have the same video frame rates, a same size diafragm aperture and the same video quality, the Google Pixel XL also has a back facing camera with more mega pixels and a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor taking much better quality photographs.
Google Pixel XL features a bit better battery duration than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because it has a 1 percent greater battery capacity.
Although Google Pixel XL is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Mi MIX 2. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Google Pixel XL, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, giving up some specifications.
