The Xperia 5 has a score of 81, which is a little bit better than the Google Pixel's 80.2 general score. Even though the Xperia 5 is somewhat heavier than the Google Pixel, it's just a bit thinner and extremely newer. The Sony Xperia 5 features a bit more vivid display than Google Pixel, because it has a bit higher 1080 x 2520px resolution, a bit greater pixels number per screen inch and a bigger display.
The Xperia 5 features just a bit better processing power than Google Pixel, because it has more RAM and a greater number of cores (and they are faster). Google Pixel and Sony Xperia 5 feature really similar cameras, because although the Sony Xperia 5 has a smaller back-facing camera sensor shooting lower quality videos and pictures, a lower 3840x2160 video resolution and a lower resolution back facing camera, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture.
The Sony Xperia 5 features a way bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Google Pixel, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Sony Xperia 5 also has an external SD slot that allows up to 512 GB. The Xperia 5 counts with a bit longer battery lifetime than Google Pixel, because it has a 3140mAh battery capacity instead of 2770mAh.
Although Xperia 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Google Pixel, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Pixel. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Xperia 5, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Google Pixel, letting go a couple specs and features.
