Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is just a bit better than Honor 50 Pro, having a global score of 82.1 against 77. The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star design is a little bit thinner than Honor 50 Pro, but it's just a bit heavier and was released 3 years before. Both of these devices have Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Honor 50 Pro has Android 11 version, so it provides some extra features and increased performance.
Honor 50 Pro counts with a slightly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a little better pixel density, a bit higher resolution of 1236 x 2676 pixels and a quite bigger display.
