Comparison review

The Galaxy A8 Star is better than the Honor 50 SE, having an 82.1 score against 73.7. The Galaxy A8 Star construction weights the same than Honor 50 SE, but it's just a little bit thinner. Both phones in this review work with Android OS, but the Galaxy A8 Star has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Honor 50 SE has Android 11, so it provides some nice extra features.

Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has a display that is just as good as Honor 50 SE's screen, because although the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has a little bit lower 1080 x 2220px resolution and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a little greater display pixels density. The Galaxy A8 Star counts with a quite bigger storage to store more apps and games than Honor 50 SE, because although it has 0 less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 400 GB.

Honor 50 SE features a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Honor 50 SE also has 2 GB more RAM memory. The Honor 50 SE takes much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low light photography, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Honor 50 SE also counts with a camera with a much higher resolution.

The Honor 50 SE counts with a little longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3700mAh.
