Galaxy S6 Edge has a general score of 81.8, which is way better than the Honor 8's 65.7 score. Despite of the fact that the Galaxy S6 Edge is older than the Honor 8, it's design is a bit thinner and somewhat lighter. The Galaxy S6 Edge features a bit superior processor than Honor 8, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a 64-bit processor and an additional graphics processor.
Galaxy S6 Edge has a much more vibrant screen than Honor 8, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixels density and a higher 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. The Honor 8 shoots much better photographs and videos than Galaxy S6 Edge, although it has a smaller sensor which gives a lower photo and video quality, a tinier diafragm aperture which is not recommended for capturing photos and video in low-light situations, a way less mega-pixels camera in the back and a lot lower 1920x1080 video resolution.
The Honor 8 features a much better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 64 GB internal memory and a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB. The Honor 8 features a little longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 3000mAh battery size against 2600mAh.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge costs a little more than Honor 8, but you can get a much better phone for that few extra dollars.
