Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 8 has a general score of 79.5, which is much better than Honor 9X Pro's overall score of 71.9. The Asus ROG Phone 8 is a just a bit heavier phone than Honor 9X Pro, but both of them are equally thin. Both of these devices include Android OS (operating system), but Asus ROG Phone 8 has a newer 14 version and Honor 9X Pro has Android 10, so it provides you some nice extra features and performance tweaks.
The Honor 9X Pro has an extremely better CPU than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has 6 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores. Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a much better looking screen than Honor 9X Pro, because although it has a just a little worse pixel amount in each inch in the display, it also counts with a bit larger display and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2400.
The Honor 9X Pro has much more memory to install applications and games than Asus ROG Phone 8, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Honor 9X Pro also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 512 GB. Asus ROG Phone 8 shoots much better photos and videos than Honor 9X Pro, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for low light images and video, it also counts with a way better 7680x4320 video quality, a much larger sensor taking lot better quality photographs and videos and a better 50 mega pixels resolution back facing camera.
Asus ROG Phone 8 has a much longer battery lifetime than Honor 9X Pro, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity.
