Huawei Mate X2 is a lot better than the Honor 9X Pro, having an 89.1 score against 71.9. Even though Huawei Mate X2 is notably heavier than the Honor 9X Pro, it's just a little thinner and also newer. Both phones in this review include the same Android 10 OS (operating system). Huawei Mate X2 counts with a bit better display than Honor 9X Pro, because it has a lot higher 2200 x 2480 resolution, a larger screen and a just a bit more pixels per inch in the screen.
Honor 9X Pro counts with a very superior storage capacity to store more games and applications than Huawei Mate X2, and although they both have the same 256 GB internal storage capacity, the Honor 9X Pro also has an external SD slot that allows up to 512 GB. Huawei Mate X2 features a bit faster processor than Honor 9X Pro, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei Mate X2 also has 2 GB more RAM.
Huawei Mate X2 captures clearer photos and videos than Honor 9X Pro, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is worse for shooting pictures and/or video in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a back facing camera with a higher resolution.
Huawei Mate X2 features just a little bit longer battery duration than Honor 9X Pro, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
