The Galaxy A30 is better than the Honor 9X Pro, having a global score of 79.6 against 71.9. The Galaxy A30 is an older cellphone than the Honor 9X Pro, but Samsung was able to make it lighter and thinner anyway. Honor 9X Pro has a bit better performance than Galaxy A30, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Honor 9X Pro also has a greater amount of RAM.
The Honor 9X Pro and the Samsung Galaxy A30 both feature similar displays, because although the Samsung Galaxy A30 has a little bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2340, it also counts with a just a bit greater screen pixel density. Honor 9X Pro counts with a very superior storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy A30, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 512 GB, the Honor 9X Pro also has 256 GB internal storage capacity.
Honor 9X Pro features a better camera than Galaxy A30, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not recommended for taking photographs and video in low-light situations, and they both have the same video resolution, the Honor 9X Pro also counts with a back camera with a much better 48 megapixels resolution, better video frame rates and a lot larger back-facing camera sensor.
The Samsung Galaxy A30's battery lifetime is just as good as the Honor 9X Pro one.
