Comparison review
The Galaxy M40 is better than the Honor 9X Pro, having a general score of 85 against 71.9. Galaxy M40's construction is lighter and somewhat thinner than the Honor 9X Pro, despite of the fact that it was released about 10 months before. Both of these phones have the same Android 10 OS (operating system).
Galaxy M40 counts with a bit more vivid display than Honor 9X Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 2340px resolution, the Galaxy M40 also counts with a little bit better screen pixels density. The Honor 9X Pro has just a little better processing power than Galaxy M40. They have a 6 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores.
Honor 9X Pro counts with a very superior storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy M40, and although they both have a SD card slot that supports up to 512 GB, the Honor 9X Pro also has 128 GB more internal storage capacity. Honor 9X Pro takes slightly better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy M40, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for low-light images and videos, and they both have the same (Full HD) video definition, the Honor 9X Pro also counts with higher 60 fps video frame rates, a lot better 48 megapixels resolution back camera and a much bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting lot higher quality videos and pictures.
The Honor 9X Pro features just a bit better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has a 14% more battery size.
