Samsung Galaxy Note5 is better than the Honor 9X Pro, with an 80.2 score against 71.9. Even though Samsung Galaxy Note5 is older than Honor 9X Pro, it's design is thinner and somewhat lighter. The Honor 9X Pro features a bit superior CPU than Samsung Galaxy Note5, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Honor 9X Pro also has a larger amount of RAM.

The Galaxy Note5 features a bit more vivid screen than Honor 9X Pro, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher amount of pixels per inch in the display and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560. The Honor 9X Pro captures much better photos and videos than Galaxy Note5, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Honor 9X Pro also has better video frame rate, a larger aperture to take better captures and videos in poorly lited situations, a back-facing camera with a way better 48 megapixels resolution and a much bigger camera sensor which offers a much better photo and video quality.

Honor 9X Pro features a way bigger storage to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note5, because it has a SD memory slot that admits up to 512 GB and more internal storage. The Honor 9X Pro counts with better battery life than Galaxy Note5, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
